Sometimes articles need to be started from scratched, chunks rewritten or added, or just small tweaks. Here are some tips to get you started.

  • look for alerts such as "needs citation"
  • misspelled, dated, or imprecise language
  • adding links to other articles, or websites
  • translating articles from other languages
  • adding images and descriptions
  • writing new content from background research
  • edit out subjective or biased language
  • add missing people to existing lists (e.g. Notable Berklee Alum)
  • add "education" or other missing sections
  • create an article if none exists -- e.g. for notable albums/works
  • add performance/album/etc credits
  • search popular publications for people (e.g. NYTimes, Globe)
