Montreux Jazz Festival: Celebrates its 50th Edition

Creative Entrepreneurs Conversations: Stephanie-Aloysia Moretti

Thursday / February 25, 2016 / 1:00 p.m.

Stephanie-Aloysia Moretti, artistic director of the Montreux Jazz Artists Foundation, will speak with the Berklee Institute for Creative Entrepreneurship on the role of music festivals in the streaming era. Hear how the Montreux Jazz Festival has grown beyond an annual live music series, celebrating musical giants and new artists alike, to become an international musical brand that includes over 5,000 hours of recordings with greats such as Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, and David Bowie and an archive of 4,000 recorded concerts and 45 vintage posters by artists such as Andy Warhol and Keith Haring.

Be sure to check out Montreux Jazz Festival posters hung across the library and media center.
